XP users receive yet another reprive

Microsoft XP was on my computer, and used daily, up until March of 2014.  It would still probably be my OS of choice had I not changed computers. It’s a great OS, and like the millions of others using it I saw no reason to change.

Then I got a new computer that had win8.1 on it.  It wasn’t too bad and I adapted quickly. However, I kept hearing about the tens of millions that had not made the switch before Microsoft terminated the support for it.

An exploit was recently found in the Explorer browser that MS initially said it would not fix for XP users. That’s fine – we were all given fair warning. Then governments around the world started to complain and viola – a fix for XP users.

Adopt change. Adopt progression – it’s 13 almost 14 years old. Make the switch.
